Welcome to www.ByAnyMeans.org.uk - the place to come for information on Charley Boorman’s TV series charting his journey from Ireland to Sydney, Australia, By Any Means!

Charley Boorman has been part of some great recent TV and dvd series, and by any means is the latest in the series. He travelled with Ewan McGregor in Long Way Round and Long Way Down, and he also took part in the Dakar Rally in 2006 in the series Race To Dakar.

In By Any Means, Charley along with his friend Russ and cameraman Mungo try to use as many modes of transport as possible on their journey, using transport which is related to the country they are in. So he’ll be in old Buses, tuk tuk’s, fishing boats and all sorts. They refuse to use commercial air travel if they possibly can, to remind of the days when getting from the UK to Australia wasn’t just a case of jumping on a plane at Heathrow.

As always in these journey’s, its’ not just how they get there, but what they experience on the way which makes their journey exciting.

Keep checking back to this site as more information will be released during the series!
